Living Free Every Day®
Today's Scripture "This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth." 1 John 3:16-18 NIV

It might involve forgiving someone who has hurt us. "Let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth."
Lord, you've demonstrated your love for me in so many ways. By meeting my needs and giving me the desires of my heart. By listening to me. And most of all by dying on the cross for my sins. Help me to demonstrate my love for others. Help me to develop love-in-action in my life and to honor you in all that I am and all that I do. In Jesus' name ...
